KOLKATA: Days after the vandalism at the Christ Church Girls' High School in Dum Dum, a group of miscreants ransacked a playschool at Short Street in south Kolkata. On Sunday afternoon, about 50 miscreants tied up the caretakers at the gunpoint and ransacked the school. "It was around 4.20pm, when we heard a noise outside. Since the main door remains open throughout the day, miscreants had an easy entry into the school. When I asked them about their identity, they pushed me aside and tied me up," said Ganga Ghosh, one of the caretakers of the school. The middle-aged woman is yet to come out of the shock. The miscreants then hit another caretaker Akhil Haldar on the head. "Suddenly, one of them came and started kicking me with boots on," said Haldar while he was groaning in pain.
