Navjot Singh Sidhu wants to serve Punjab and AAP only option, says his Wife

Navjot Singh Sidhu’s resignation from the Rajya Sabha means that he has quit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the cricketer-turned-politician’s wife said on Tuesday. She also said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) now appeared the only option for the three-time Lok Sabha MP who wants to serve Punjab. A day after Sidhu’s move triggered speculations about new political equations in the poll-bound state, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, also a politician, said at her residence in Amritsar that his husband will not return to the BJP.
