Pakistan: Renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri shot dead in Karachi

Renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen on Wednesday in Karachi. According to a Pakistani newspaper, Sabri was travelling in his car when some unknown gunmen fired at his vehicle in Karachi's Liaquatabad area. Sabri was shot thrice- twice in the head and once on the ear, police sources said. An eye witnesses told the newspaper that he saw two motorcycle riding men fire shots at one side of the car. Then they turned and fired four shots on the other side of the car.
