An appalling incident transpired on Thursday morning when Basant Singh, Deputy Mayor of Bhojpur was shot by unidentified assailants.
It is said that the Bhojpur Deputy Mayor had good influence over the region and this particular reason might have been the reason for why the assailants tried to kill him.
