Answer sheets of Bihar Class 12 toppers to be re-examined after questions raised on quality

In an unprecedented move, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has decided to "re-examine" the toppers of its +2 examinations this year to ascertain whether they actually deserved the honours or not. Stung by the video of a girl, who scored 444/500 to top the arts stream in the state, pronouncing 'political science' as 'prodigal science' and describing it as a subject on cookery, BSEB chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh on Tuesday said the top five scorers of all the three streams -- arts, commerce and science -- would be called to appear for a "small test". "We will also form a committee of subject experts who will interview them," he said.
