Feted worldwide for its quality education, Jadavpur University in Kolkata has now taken an unprecedented step which has sent shockwaves in the academic fraternity.

Bowing down to pressure mounted by the students wing of Trinamool Congress, the university has now issued a notification which will allow failed students to be promoted year after year in the engineering courses.
