Indian Airlines plane IC-814: Indian Airlines plane IC-814 with 180 crew and passengers returing from hoilday in Nepal is hijacked in Kathmandu. The plane is taken by 5 hijackers to Amritsar, then Lahore, Dubai and finally to Kandahar. The hijackers final demand was to realise the three dreaded terrorist arrested for Kidnapping Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of India's Former Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
