News X: IC-814 was hijacked with 11 crew members & 179 passengers

Indian Airlines plane IC-814: The Indian Airlines scheduled flight IC-814 was delayed by about 2 hour but finally took off from Kathmandu Airport at 16.27 hrs IST. Capt. Devi Saran was in command and Capt. Rajendra Kumar was the co-pilot along with a flight engineer and Cabin crew of 8 people were onboard. There were 179 passengers on board along with 5 children. At 16:53 hours IST, when flying over Varanasi/Lucknow, the flight was hijacked by 5 masked hijackers.
