Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's mega event at Yamuna in fresh controversy; NGT to take final call

The National Green Tribunal will today resume its hearing on the pleas seeking cancellation of the World Culture Festival, be organized by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living foundation, to be hosted on the Yamuna flood plains in Delhi from March 11 to 13th. A bench headed by NGT Chairperson Justice Swatanter Kumar will hear the matter today. Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Uttar Pradesh and Delhi governments will make their submissions with regard to grant of permission to the festival.
