MCD strike Day 4: Workers pile garbage in front of Delhi Assembly Speaker's house

Delhi woke up to a sore sight of rotting refuse on the streets on Saturday as the strike by the MCD workers over non-payment of their dues entered day four on Saturday. MCD workers protested in Delhi and also dumped garbage in front of Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel.

The protestors who are venting their ire by dumping piles of garbage outside the homes and offices of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, headed towards the residence of Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel today. "We are not being paid because of AAP's internal conflicts. We are suffering because of them and so are our families. We have to pay rent and send our kids to school. What should we do if we don't get paid," a protestor said.
