Indian Consulate Targeted: Three cops injured, Causalties feared

NewsX: There's been a suicide blast outside the Indian consulate in Jalalabad eastern Afghanistan. The attack has reportedly left at least 8 people killed including children. The explosion reportedly took place barely 15-20 metres away from the consulate. The building has suffered some damage.
As per the Ministry of External Affairs, all Indian officials working at the consulate are safe and MEA is in constant touch with them. Those injured include police men and locals who were outside the consulate at the time of the blast.
Reportedly, a car containing explosives hit a barrier near the consulate and detonated. This suicide attack was then followed by gunfire.
