NewsX: First up, Heavy rain lashes many parts of Gujarat including its capital Ahmedabad which recorded 5-inch rainfall in just 2 hours yesterday.

Further, the Met department has predicted intermittent but heavy rainfall for Ahmedabad in the next 24 hours. Remember, low lying areas in the city have already been submerged forcing students to skip classes due to water logging.
