BCCI confirms Dalmiya to continue as interim president

Just when N Srinivasan's return as BCCI president looked all set to be confirmed. The Board of Cricket Control in India have suddenly woken up to the rising anger in the country.
In a dramatic development the all-important Working Committee meet, where Srini's return as President was set to be rubber stamped, was postponed.
The meeting did not take place, so technically Srinivasan remains on the sidelines of the BCCI.
Jagmohan Dalmiya will continue running the BCCI's affairs in the interim, a continuation of the status quo on a day that could have had Srinivasan resume functioning as board president.
