Bihar Mid-day Meal: Three lakh students to Boycott midday meal

News X: Almost a week after the death of 23 kids from eating contaminated mid day meal in Chhapra, over three lakh school teachers in Bihar are set to boycott the mid day meal scheme from today. This comes after some teachers protested in Bhagalpur over recent mid day meal deaths.
The fear is so high that a Government run Madan Lal Senior Secondary Girls students simply refused to have midday meals labeling the meal to be hazardous and life threatening. Even the parents of the school children have warned their wards from consuming such meals.
