NewsX: Heavy rain lashes Mumbai

NewsX: Heavy rain has brought the city of dreams to a standstill. Water logging and traffic jams across the city have added to the woes of citizens. Though there's no water logging on railway tracks as of now, trains on all routes are running at least 20 minutes late.
Met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain over the next 72 hours. Authorities have issued an advisory urging people to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary. A high tide of 4.95 meters touted as the highest this season, is predicted at 1:27 pm today afternoon. BMC has announced a one day holiday for all schools.
