NewsX: The battle for 2014 has only just begun and the BJP is leaving no stone unturned in gearing up for the big fight. Most of the BJP's parliamentary poll strategy hinges on Narendra Modi's popularity. Gujarat Chief Minister who was elevated as the Party's poll panel chief is in the National capital to finalise his core team.

According to reports, all the ten general secretaries of the BJP will be given key roles in Modi's team.

Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Anant Kumar, Thawar Chand Gehlot, J P Nadda, Murlidhar Rao, Dharamendra Pradhan, Varun Gandhi, Amit Shah, Ram Lal and Tapir Gao will all have important roles to play. All will be assigned various roles in election-related work. Sources said, these office bearers would de facto be part of Modi's campaign team.

But Modi's BJP has failed the women's test. Despite the party's claim and sushma swaraj's boast that has implemented 33 per cent reservation, there are no women.
