In a second big decision in as many days, the Allahabad High Court today stayed, caste based or community based rallies in Uttar Pradesh agreeing with the PIL that such gatherings pose a threat to social unity. Parties whose party manifestos reflect primarily caste and its politics have something to worry about. Who are these parties, lets see, well that would be ALL of them. This decision comes as a big one as politics in the country seems to be moving towards a defining election.
