Congress condemns BJP for calling Shah Rukh Khan an anti-national

In the backdrop of protests by artistes, writers and scientists over alleged rising intolerance in the country, Congress on Wednesday slammed the government for failing to maintain communal peace in the country and for making hate speeches against the protestors. Addressing a Press Conference senior Congress leader Anand Sharma accused the Narendra Modi government of “unleashing a sinister campaign” to create social and communal tension in the country.
