NewsX: NewsX has known that the Koee-code (Kozhikode) runway in Kerala is posing threat to passengers as a portion of the runway has caved in.

Cracks have appeared in the in runway two-eight. The Airport authorities have kept the runway open for just take off purpose.

Only runway One-zero is operational and the landing and take offs are taking place from this runway. Both domestic and international flights, passenger and cargo are operating from the same runway as of now.

It must be noted that Kozhicode aitrport is hub of Air India Express.

NewsX spoke to the ATC official in Kozhicode. Lets listen it what the ATC had to say on the damaged runway.
