Geeta deaf-mute woman lost in Pakistan, identifies family and set to return to India soon

A deaf-mute woman who lost her family when she wandered over one of the world’s most militarised borders as a child will return to India this month, officials at the Pakistani charity where she has been living for years said on Thursday. Geeta, a Hindu woman now in her early twenties, was around 11 years old when she inadvertently crossed the border from India to Pakistan.
