NewsX: Srinagar attacked before PM, Sonia step in

NewsX: Even as Prime Minister Manmohan and Congress President Sonia Gandhi are set to visit Jammu and Kashmir today, Hizbul Mujahideen militants carried out two deadly attacks on Monday. Rated as one of the biggest attacks in a long time, as many as 8 soldiers were killed and 13 others injured. This is the third deadly attack against security forces this year. Meanwhile, separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani has called for bandh to protest the visit of the Prime Minister.
