Two passengers were killed and eight others injured as the Duronto AC Express train going from Secunderabad to Mumbai derailed at Martur near Kalburgi in Karnataka. The accident is reported to have occurred around 2 am. Nine coaches of the train had jumped off the tracks..Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has ordered an inquiry into the matter. He added that all possible medical help will be extended to those who are injured.
