At least four people were reportedly injured after police resorted to layhicharge and used water cannons on Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani's supporters protesting against his detention on Sunday. The Kashmiri separatist leader was place under house arrest today with heavy security deployment outside his Hyderpora residence today morning. He was scheduled to address a seminar in Srinagar today.
