India Debates: 298 killed in Ukraine, 380 killed in Gaza
  • 5 years ago
A Malaysian Airlines commercial airplane exploded and crashed near the Russia-Ukraine border on Thursday, killing the 298 passengers aboard it. Although the evidence is not yet clear, the plane was caught in the Russia-Ukraine conflict and reportedly shot down by pro-Russian separatists thinking it was a Ukrainian militant plane. The world has claimed the downing an international disaster and has condemned Russia for the attack. Russia has not denied that the plane might have been shot down by one of its missiles, but blames Ukraine for instigating violence and escalating the situation to cause the disaster to occur. The United Nations, including the U.S., looks to carry out an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
