NewsX: Maharashtra's NCP today went in for an image makeover with the reshuffling of its ministers. The reshuffling was done with an eye on the Lok Sabha polls. The party will induct senior party leader and state party unit chief Madhukar Pichad, former minister of state Dilip Sopal and party legislator Shashikant Shinde as cabinet ministers while legislators Uday Samant, Suresh Dhas and Sanjay Savkare as ministers of state. The swearing in function will soon take place at the Raj Bhavan. The new ministers come in place of Babanrao Pachpute, Laxman Dhoble, Ramraje, Bhaskar Jadhav and Gulabrao Deokar. The reshuffle comes after 20 NCP ministers handed in their resignations to part president Sharad Pawar at his behest.
