Pakistani troops resorted to mortar shelling at various places along the Line of Control in Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu districts during wee hours of Thursday morning. Pointing out that affected sectors on the Indian side included Krishna Ghati, Bhimber Gali and Pallanwalla, sources said that tension has been mounting in border areas as Pakistan has been resorting to mortar shelling on the Indian side regularly for the past many days.
