Rupee hits 11 month low

NewsX: The rupee hit an record against the dollar against rising oil and gold imports and weak domestic equities. The rupee has depreciated 5.2% since the start of May and stands close to last June's record low. Finance Minister P Chidambaram has assured investors that the weaking rupee is not a cause for alarm.
