NewsX: Chennai Police of Kipauk Police station are yet to release the 'arrested' goats that they have detained since Sunday, for allegedly 'damaging' a brand new police vehicle. What was initially perceived as a joke turning out now to be an outright farce. 48 hours and the owner of the goats gets no respite. Pleading for the goats who have been caged, the owner has been running from pillar to post but to no avail. The police have charged the woman for negligent conduct with respect to animal and are now refusing to let the goats go until the owner pays 9,000 rupees for their release.
