New PIL against IPL in Supreme Court

NewsX: A Lucknow resident - Sudersh Awasthi has filed a PIL in the Supreme Court demanding an SIT probe in all allegations of match fixing. The PIL is also asking for a stay the IPL's semi finals and final matches. Awasthi's PIL also says that only a thorough probe by an impartial body can uncover the truth behind match fixing. Meanwhile, a Chennai based Cricket fan -- Ramakrishnan - along with his advocate Krishnamurthy has lodged a complaint to the Chennai city police commissioner against all the 3 tainted players. The complainant says he has been cheated and his trust been criminally breached by the fixing. He also says that he has been cheated as a paid spectator of IPL.
