The Supreme Court on Friday extended the time for conducting All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) and directed CBSE to hold the test and declare result by August 17. "You take up the task of re-examination of AIMPT on most urgent basis," the top court told CBSE, granting it two months time to conduct re-examination. Earlier the court had directed CBSE to hold exam by July 15. The CBSE had on Thursday told the apex court that it was impossible to conduct AIPMT within a month as directed by the court.
