Journalist Jagendra Singh’s family continued their protest for the third day on Tuesday demanding CBI probe into his death as the slain journalist’s wife fainted. Singh was allegedly set on fire by Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and minister Ram Murti Verma. In his dying declaration had named police as responsible for his death. Uttar Pradesh government suspended five cops after the incident and also ordered a probe into the incident. Singh’s wife who is sitting on protest with her children fainted on Monday. She refused to be taken to hospital and was treated on the protest site itself.
