It was a moment of pride for friends and family as the Indian Army got richer by 616 gentleman cadets. Held in Dehradun, with the magnificent Chetwode building as the backdrop, this was the Indian Army’s 136th Regular Course passing out parade. The cadets put up a fantastic show as 616 of them, including 71 foreign cadets from 11 friendly nations - 44 from Afghanistan, 12 from Tazakistan, four from Bhutan, one each from Maldives, Lesotho, Fiji, Kazakhstan, two from Seychelles, Nigeria and Tanzania - joined the passing out brigade at the drill square. It was a day to remember for the young officers of the country as their hard work, perseverance, and tough training finally saw their dream come true.
