Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chairperson Barkha Shukla on Saturday met Home Affairs Minister Rajnath Singh and asked for more security to AAP leader Somnath Bharti’s wife. Shukla said that Bharti’s wife Lipika Mitra is receiving threats from the AAP workers. The DCW chairperson also stated that no action is taken in the case till date and the commission has put the case in front of the home ministry. Lipika had filed a complaint of domestic violence at the DCW on Wednesday. In her 20-page-long complaint, she has shared brief details on how Somnath used to abuse her and beat her since the time they got married.
