Karnataka polls: Congress sweeps majority votes
  • 5 years ago
The results of the crucial May 5 Karnataka assembly elections were announced on Wednesday. The Congress swept the polls while the BJP was decimated and was even struggling to finish second. The JDS put up a decent performance while the KJP of B S Yeddyurappa, who was expected to play the role of a kingmaker in the post-poll scenario, didn't make much of an impact apart from ensuring the BJP's downfall.
