Delhi's 'plastics king', Bhanwarlal Raghunath Doshi, gave up his over 600-crore business empire to embrace Jain monastic life at an extravagant ceremony in the city on Sunday. Doshi became a monk under the discipleship of Jain Acharya, Shri Gunratna Surishwarji Maharaj. Doshi became the 108th disciple of Surishwarji Maharaj and 354th postulant to become a monk under him.
And in another story, A businessman who liked a singer's performance in a cultural event in Jamnagar, Gujarat showered Rs 4.5 crore on him.
