Jharkhand's health minister and veteran BJP politician Ramchandra Chandrawanshi said he has "done nothing" after he was caught on camera yesterday attacking a political rival, a Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, in full public view. Mr Chandarwanshi first attacked the RJD leader himself and then got his body guards to thrash him repeatedly. "I did nothing. I am telling you. Anyone can say anything. Even if a complaint has been filed, someone could file a complaint against you too," said the minister, hours after the incident even as the video was being circulated.
