A day after a media report claimed that Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is planning to buy snooping equipment for its Anti-Corruption Branch, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers staged a protest outside the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. The news report claimed that the AAP government has readied a Cabinet note approving buying of snooping equipment for the ACB so that its officials could efficiently probe corruption cases. Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhay, who was leading the protests today, accused the AAP of trying to break into people's privacy. We will protest against this move, said Updahyay.
