Jyoti Rathore and Mansi Jaiswal of Lucknow Public School (Rajajipuram Branch) got the first and second ranks respectively in the Uttar Pradesh board intermediate examination, while Sarvesh Verma of Basti topped in the high school examination. Jyoti secured 97.2% and Mansi, a student of the same school based in Lucknow, obtained 97%. Sarvesh topped the high school examination by securing 96.83%. The overall pass percentage of the intermediate examination was 88.83% whereas the high school pass percentage was pegged at 83.74%. The pass percentage of the intermediate category has dipped by 3.38% from last year’s 92.21%. The overall pass percentage for the high school category has dipped by nearly 3%.
