After a 56-day sabbatical, Rahul Gandhi will make his first public appearance today. The Gandhi scion will meet delegations of farmers from different states and hear their views on the changes being brought in the UPA's land law. The event is being viewed as a stage for Rahul's comeback big Kisan rally at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. Sources say that Rahul will be accompanied by senior Congress leaders including Jairam Ramesh and Digvijay Singh. The farmers' delegation will include farmers from Bhatta Parsaul village from where Rahul had launched a 'padyatra' in 2011 against land acquisition of farmers.
