1993 Mumbai blasts: Films 'humane' reason over cancer, old age?

While 70-year-old Zaibunnisa is set to go BACK to jail, another convict in the case, actor Sanjay Dutt still remains a free bird. As unlike her, the Supreme Court granted Dutt an extension of one month to surrender. Dutt had asked for 6 more months, to complete his pending film commitments, as he has crores riding on him. On the other hand, Zaibunnisa's daughter sought time for her old, ailing mother as she needs medical attention. Both Dutt and Zaibunissa's argument was that their punishment should be kept on hold, until the Maharashtra governor or the President decides on their pardon. But the SC found this ground invalid.
