Joint charity commissioner dismisses Lilavati hospital trustee

It's a NewsX impact, Mumbai's prestigious Lilavati Hospital trustee Prabodh Mehta has been sacked by the joint charity commissioner in Mumbai on the grounds that he had a conviction against him for offence of moral turpitude in Belgium. The order was in response to an application made in 2008 by the hospital's permanent trustee Charu Mehta, who challenged the continuance of Prabodh as hospital trustee citing that he was convicted in a case of money laundering and forgery.
