Opposition parties announced in Rajya Sabha that they will go ahead with their proposed march to Rashtrapati Bhavan against the government's Land Acquisition Bill defying the orders of Delhi Police, which has denied permission for the protest march. Opposition parties have planned to march to Rashtrapati Bhavan from Parliament House premises in the evening to hand over a joint memorandum to President Pranab Mukherjee, identifying their points of disagreement with the government on the bill.
