UP: Men on bike throw acid on 4 women

No end to crime against women. In a brazen attack, two men on bike allegedly threw acid on 4 sisters in Uttar Pradesh. The victims were returning home from school in Muzzafarnagar where three of them work as teachers. The fourth is a student. All three teachers are in critical condition while their younger sibling is injured but out of danger. One of the teachers may have to be sent to Delhi for treatment. No arrest has been made so far. The incident comes on a day when the country has got new Anti-rape Law with President Pranab Mukherjee signing the bill today. The criminal amendment bill was passed in Parliament last month. The house had voted against life imprisonment for acid attack.
