It appears that official visits to Gujarat can be a lucrative alternative business. At least that is what appears to be the message coming out of a high-profile trip organised by an Indian-American businessman. He financed 3 U.S Republican Congress members visit to India to meet Narendra Modi. At the end of the trip, Modi was highly praised by the delegation, and they said they would push for his U.S visa. The trip organisers raised anywhere between 3,000 to 16,000 dollars per head.
