Varun Gandhi is likely to be promoted as general secretary in the impending BJP reshuffle tipped to take place within next 48 hours. Sources have told news x that after his clean chit from the courts on his 2009 hate speech, Varun has emerged as a strong contender. Uma could be made vice president which is a post she occupied earlier.
