Shakti Shekhar of ITV NewsX has discovered that the BJP's parent organization, the RSS, is not taking any chances for the 2014 general elections and as a part of the strategy, the RSS has decided to take the management of the next year's Lok Sabha election in its own hands. The RSS is being cautious over the issue of Narendra Modi being projected as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate and hence is weighing the pros and cons over the issues. Newly-elected BJP president Rajnath Singh has exhorted partymen to devote all their time for the election during the BJP national council earlier this month. Even senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said unity and commitment are key to winning elections.
