Baba Ramdev exhibits his wrestling skills

The 20th foundation day of his ashram Divya Yog Mandir saw Baba Ramdev in a new avatar – as a wrestler who knowns how to tackle opponents in the 'dangal'.
Baba Ramdev took to the wrestling circle at the inauguration of a national level wrestling and kabaddi championship being organised by the ashram.
Amid loud cheers from the crowd, the yoga guru was seen tackling his opponent with some deft moves. The championship is being held at Acharyakulam school campus in Haridwar.
The event is being held to promote Swadeshi games and sports, Ramdev said.
“Wrestled many years ago, decided to try it. Drink cow's milk and kheer made of that,” he said after the bout.
Launched on January 5, 1995, the Divya Yog Mandir Trust later expanded to include organisations like the Patanjali Yogpeeth and Bharat Swabhiman Trust.
Among the guests invited for the event are union ministers Nitin Gadkari and Sarbananda Sonowal, and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
