West Bengal: CPM, Congress workers clash over road project

CPM and Congress workers have clashed in Malda over a road project. The incident took place in Bilaimari village under Ratua block of Malda district. There was tension in the area for sometime now over 3.5 km stretch of road being built under 'PM's Gram Sadak Yojana. Local panchayat had called an all party meet to discuss all issues. However, clashes broke out soon after heated debate. One woman, identified as Gazoli Bibi died in the clash. CPM has alleged that she was their supporter and has blamed the Congress.
