Delhi: Bank van robbed of Rs. 1.5 crore in Kamla Nagar

Two bike-borne robbers shot at the security guard of a cash van and made away with Rs. 1.5 crore in north Delhi's busy Kamla Nagar market near Delhi University on Saturday morning.The daring daylight robbery took place at around 11 am outside a private bank ATM booth located on Bungalow Road near Kamla Nagar.Sandeep Goel, joint commissioner of police (central range), said the cash van belongs to a private cash replenishment company and it was carrying cash meant to refill different ATM machines in Kamla Nagar and Roop Nagar localities.
