A 14-year-old boy committed suicide at his residence in Rajasthan's Sirohi district after allegedly being harassed by his school teachers.

The body of Jigar Kumar Rawal, a class VII student, was found hanging in the kitchen on Tuesday night. The police was informed about the incident yesterday, police said today.

A suicide note was recovered in which he said he was taking the extreme step as he was fed up of being abused and beaten up by three teachers for not doing homework, SHO Ram Singh Poonia said.

The boy's father is a cloth merchant in Mumbai.
"The accused teachers have been detained and being questioned," he added.
